Objectives

The main objects of the Federation are as follows:
(i) To promote in India or elsewhere the welfare activities, socio-economic development, social assistance, social insurance, mental hygiene, public health, recreation and the cause of education including women’s education, children’s education particularly the girl child’s education, and adult education and to establish, promote, setup, run, maintain, assist, finance, support and help in setting up, running and maintaining institutions, orphanages, handicapped, widows, homes, lunatics asylums, old age homes, poor house or other establishment for relief and help to the poor, old and infirm people, destitute etc. and in this regard carry out all types of development programmes and undertake all types of initiatives and interventions in the areas of hunger and food security, gender equality, education, agriculture and natural resources, poverty alleviation, health and nutrition, slum development, environment, renewable energy, water resources, income and livelihood creation and support and to uplift the Artisans, Weavers, Farmers, Entrepreneurs, Self Help Groups, NGOs, Women’s, Youths, Individuals, Societies, etc. for their overall Development in all Sectors of People’s Lifecycle and any area in which development activity and intervention is required and to generate employment by organizing and promoting various self employment generation schemes for the society, particularly for girls and women; to work for providing all kinds of economic and management techniques and infrastructural facilities, particularly those belonging to below poverty line, through the development of agricultural products, herbal products, dairy products, handlooms and handicrafts etc. and also through implementing various Government Schemes and Projects and to carry all such objects as deemed expedient for the attainment of the foregoing objects.

 

(ii) To organise domestic, national, and international exhibition, expos, melas, trade fair, seminars, trainings, workshops etc. and participate in the same for the purpose of creating employment opportunities, marketing and selling of products, raw materials and all such related activities.

 

(iii) To receive financial and non-financial assistance from Govt., Semi-Govt., N.G.O., International Body, Bank, Company, and any other legal entity or individual or institutions for attainment the objective of the organizations and to accomplish all the socio- economic needs of the people and to do all such activities as necessary to carry on the above-mentioned objects.
